Whitebridge was a small lonely village,and old people came and lived there.Some of them had lots of old furniture（家具）,some of which they didn’t want to keep.This was because there was no enough place to put it.Every Saturday morning they put out what they didn’t need and other people came and took it away if they wanted to have it.Mr.and Mrs.Morton’s children had grown up.The old couple moved to this small village as the other people did.The young were busy forever.All the old in this small village were hard to meet their children.Every Saturday Mr.and Mrs.Morton had put out a very ugly old bear’s head at the side of their gate,but nobody wanted it.Last Saturday they wrote “I’m very lonely here” on a piece of paper and put it near the bear’s head.After a while they found there was another bear’s head put beside theirs,with another piece of paper.It said:“I’m lonely,too.”
