I have been dreaming for long that I can come to HKU.
Firstly,I’m really fascinated by the city of Hong Kong.I love its unique atmosphere.It has a mixture of fashion and old styles,a bit narrow but warm streets,and those busy but kind people.So I hope to settle down here.Secondly,I believe that HKU can provide me with the best education in a different mode.I can improve my ability,thus prepare better for my future.Also,in a multi-cultural environment in HKU,I can have a deeper understanding of the world and myself.
Sometimes I love to wander along streets without entering any shops,only to enjoy being in the crowd.I can see people passing by hurriedly,appearing to be cool yet warm inside their hearts,then I would feel grateful that I can stay in such a beautiful world.I want to know these people’s life,their stories and their problems.That’s why I choose to major in sociology or journalism.
I do feel regret that I didn’t have much time to stay with people,but with the schoolwork.So in my university life,I will take part in more extra-curricular activities and make more friends.Meanwhile,I am aware of the pressures of studying in HKU,therefore I will spare no effort to be the best.I can’t wait to be a shining part of HKU!
