Seen on top of the mountain,the city looks more beautiful.
这句话里"Seen"可以被理解成这城市在山上"被看",所以用Seen而不是seeing吧
很多句子和单词都这样..
但是遇到了两个题:
Considering his age,the little boy read quite well.
和
Judging from the appearance,it is very peaceful.
我同样可以理解成男孩的年龄"被考虑"以及it的外貌"被判断"啊,为什么要用现在分词而不是过去分词?是固定搭配要死记吗?
那么做选择题的时候怎么区分选现在分词还是过去分词呢..还是高中阶段只要死记住这两个?

1.seen 可以理解成“被看”,它与后面的主语the city 存在着被动的关系,所以用过去分词形式.（过去分词表示被动,完成.）
2.Considering his age,the little boy read quite well.这个句子中Considering是介词,Considering his age是介词短语在句中作状语.
比如：
Considering the distance,he arrived very quickly.
考虑到路程较远,他来得够快了.
Considering everything,this is the best choice.
考虑到各种情况,这是最佳选择.
3.Judging from the appearance,it is very peaceful.这一句中,Judging from（by）由……判断出,这是现在分词作独立成分,在此并非句子的状语.作独立成分的现在分词还有：generally speaking 一般来说.
