对于下面这个句子,我有些问题想问,请高手作答,
"I think heightism is pervasive all over the world,",says Hamre."It does rear its ugly head in China,which looks to the West for culture and is looks-oriented.Height might be more of an issue in US because of hollywood and how we are hung up on men being tall and being leaders."
这句话中有两处地方我不是很明白.
1.It does rear its ugly head in China,which looks to the West for culture and is looks-oriented,which引导的定语从句修饰的是谁?it--heightism 还是 China.
2.because of 后面的how 是和谁并列?

后面虽是非限定定语从句,但我认为这个which还是指代的中国,而非heightism
因为heightism到处都有,而后面的句子讲的是中国的情况.
