各位大侠们,我在看《friends》第一季第三集时,下面几个句子听了N遍,可还是听不清楚,下面我列出来,句子前面的数字表示该句子所在的时间(也许不同版本之间稍微有点差别):
1.00:00:49 and your parents put your dog to sleep,and they tell you it went off to live on some farm,听这个句子时没听到“it”这个单词.
2.00:02:16 Warden,in five minutes my pain will be over.But you'll have to live with the knowledge that you sent an honest man to die.“you'll“应该读作[jul],但我没听出来,感觉电影里不是读的[jul].
3.00:06:48 I mean,why should I let them meet him?I mean,I bring a guy home,and within five minutes they're all over him.
没听到“bring ”前面的那个”I“.
4.00:06:57 Listen.As someone who's seen more than her fair share of bad beef,压根儿就没听到“who's” 和“fair”.
5.00:09:00 Who's gonna take the first shot,hmm?"gonna"没听到,我感觉电影里读得是“Who's that”.
6.00:09:28 Know what was great?The way his smile was kinda crooked.没听到“what” "his"这两个单词.

俺把这几个地方都听了一下.确实像以上大家所说,都是因为口语比较随意、语速比较快的缘故.以下是我的解释:
1.00:00:49 and your parents put your dog to sleep,and they tell you it went off to live on some farm,听这个句子时没听到“it”这个单词.
这里it发音很轻,因为它本身/i/这个音就短,而为了适应整句的节奏,它就被习惯性的弱化了.打个比方就像是连读时两个相邻的辅音中前一个辅音会只做口型不发音一样.这里的it你如果结合说话者的口型与语音两种节奏仔细分辨的话还是能分清的.

这里的you'll还是很清楚的.我怀疑混淆楼主的一点在but与you的连读上.这里but和you连读为/bʌtʃju/,所以but you'll就成了/bʌtʃjul/.楼主可以再听一下.

没听到“bring ”前面的那个”I“.
这里类似1里面的情况,I这个词使用频率太高,所以这里基本上也是只做口型,而发音很短促.不过我觉得这里这个I还是很清楚的.

这里的who's也是很清楚的.不过fair在这里确确实实是没有,仔细听了两三遍后是可以肯定这一点的.按理说这个表达里应该有fair这个词.有可能这正好是个穿帮,拍这一段的时候演员漏说一个词,所以片子和剧本有了一点点小出入.

gonna也挺清楚的.

what和his又类似1和3里的情况.仔细分辨口型,体验这两个词在整句节奏中的瞬间停顿.
基本上这些都是个别词为了适应整句话的整体节奏而被弱化的情况.有些发音还很清楚,有些基本上就是只保留了口型停顿或节奏停顿.
这在整个语言中都是很常见的,也不局限于英语或是美语.不妨也拿普通话中的类似现象比照一下,就容易理解了.
