不顾外面的雨,我坚持要离开家去参加聚会..我上面前半句的语法没错吧?despite of +名词.但后面的副词能不能加我不清楚.请高手指点?

1.前句中的outside没错,因为副词outside做后置定语,修饰名词rain,即“外面的雨”.
但是despite本身就是介词,不能加上of,必须去掉,或改用in spite of或regardless of.
2.后句中有一个比较严重的错误,即：insist to leave home.
1）根据句意,最好用一般过去时,所以最好是insisted；
2）固定短语：insist on/upon doing sth,而没有insist to do sth.
所以最好是改成：insisted on/upon leaving home for the party.
