一 Dear mom and dad,
It has been two weeks since I last wrote to you.I am so sorry that I don't write you very often.
However,I have been busy with my preparation
for the final exams.As you know,I'm coming home on Jan.14th.But before that,I have to take the final exams for all six classes I'm taking this semester.Recently I have been in and out of the library a lot to do some research on the term paper for one of the classes.Most professors gave out the review problems already so that the students can study for the final.I think I'm doing okay studying for the final.
Besides reviewing materials,I'm also planning to host the New Year party of my department.You know there are so many talented people in my Communications major,but they picked me to host the party!Great,isn't it?

二 我爱中国我爱党(I love China and I love our Party)
During the summer vacations,I went to learn how to swim.When I went to the swimming pool,I saw many children swimming happily.The teacher taught me how to hold my breath.I was frightened at first,but gradually,I could stay in water for a long time.After some days,the teacher taught me leg- movements,hand- movements and so on.After ten days of training,I learned how to swim at last.Now I can swim freely in water.How happy I am!
三 生命在于运动,运动能增强体魄,运动也能给人带来乐趣.所以,我爱运动.我喜欢很多运动,也很擅长.我特别喜欢慢跑,早上,我总是很早起来练习跑步,加强锻炼自己的身体,保持健康.慢跑,不仅成为了我的兴趣,也已经成为我人生的一个必不可少的一部分.我希望大家都能爱上运动!
Life is movement,movement to enhance their physique,exercise can also bring enjoyment.Therefore,I love sports.I like a lot of sports,and it is very good at.Particular,I like to jog morning,I always early to practice running,strengthening exercise their bodies and remain healthy.Jogging,not only become my interest has become my life an essential part of and I hope that everyone can love sports!
四 It's said that Chinese students lack working and real-life experience.
So the first thing in my mind for job is one that can give me enough experience.Second,in order to make a warm-up for my future work,I want to get a job that relates to my major in university.Third,I want to improve my ability of communicating.So these are my goals in finding a job.
Before I go to realise it,I should make full preparations for it.First of all,I will determine what I want to do.It comes to my mind to be a personal teacher.Because it meets all my expectations.I major English in school,so I can use what I learn.Besides,I can really find a stranger to talk to and to study with.If I did well,I should be thanked and give another person some help.
Last but not least,being a personal teacher can get a
good salary.
五 My leisure Time
I'm always busy doing all kinds of things.From Monday to Friday ,I ha ve to study at school.So I have my spare time only on weekends.I like playing computer games at home.In the afternoon,I usually play with my friends.Sometimes I help my parents with housework.In the evening ,I often go to the movies.My favorite movies are Superman and Spider-Man.I want to be a hero to help people who need help in the future!
六 Chinese people always appreciate the purposes and principles of Olympic ideal,support the efforts of Olympic Games to promote world peace.The Chinese Government and people are doing our the utmost/best to prepare for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing,and shooting at the pageant with advocating Olympic ideal,sparkpluging world peace and enhancing the relationships among the world.Olympic spirit are gonna spread again in orient cultural ancient China.
The government and people of China have always admired the purposes and principles of the Olympic spirit and supported the efforts made by the Olympics in promoting world peace.The Chinese government and people are doing our utmost in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.It is our hope to make it a grand gathering that will carry forward the Olympic spirit,promote world peace and enhance the friendship among people of the world,so that the Olympic spirit will flourish once again,this time in China,an oriental country with an ancient civilization.
