We hope you are well in China!
Last evening,Gary and I attended parent/teacher conferences which are short meetings with each teacher to find out how the students are progressing for the trimester.Both Yicheng and Jens are doing very well in their classes and the teachers commented that they really enjoy having the boys in their classes.Understandably,American History is the most challenging class for each of the boys,but they are working to improve their grades in the last half of the trimester.The teachers are especially impressed with Yicheng's comfort in presenting and speaking in front of the class.His English has improved greatly in the short time he has been here,so we are very proud of him.
Yicheng and Jens played some basketball outside of our house when the weather was nice.See photos attached.
The boys will attend the girls soccer playoff game this evening and the American football game tomorrow.They have a school holiday on Thursday and Friday.
Today,Yicheng will attend a training for basketball after school.He also enjoys playing basketball on Saturday afternoon.
