I accompanied by my father arrived at Yangzhou University near noon on August 26th, 2005.We were warmly welcomed by a sophomore who is an English major. She took us to get registered at first. Then she showed us around. I was surprised when she said that Yangzhou University is made up of six campuses. And the one where we were now is the center campus called Lotus Campus because it’s located
next to the Lotus Park. And Yangzhou University has a long history which dates back to late Qing Dynasty.
After fetching my keys at the Dormitory Center and having a short rest in my room, we went to the Canteen to have lunch with the card which was given to me ahead of time. And the food tasted delicious. Above all, it was cheap.
The Teaching and Learning Building with 16 stories is the highest construction in the center campus. And the environment here is nice, but too modern. Walking through Agricultural College campus which is at the back of Lotus Campus, we were drunk in civilized atmosphere. I thought this campus was a better place to study at.
