do you know Chinese dumplings?of course you don't.That's why i am here.i will tell you what it is.
Dumplings to Chinese is that turkey to American.we eat dumplings on Spring Festival eve,the most important festival in China.dumpling has many special meanings to Chinese,but basically,it is very delicious.sure.oh,i love it.
now,i will tell you how to make dumplings.
firstly,we will make the stuffings.All kinds of meat and vegetables can be made into stuffings.The simplest stuffing is leeks and eggs.
Put a pot on the fire,pour some oil in the pot.break 3 eggs into a bowl,use chopsticks to stir the egg liquid.Now the oil is hot,pour the liquid into the pot,stir the eggs into some pieces.After the liquid solidified,turn off the fire.
Wash the leeks,then cut into some pieces.
secondly,knead dough.load some flour in a basin,pour a little water,use chopsticks to mix the flour and the water.then add a little more water,and stir...the dough should not be too hard nor too soft.
Thirdly,load the leeks into the egg pot,add salt,sesame oil,then stir.
knead the dough to round and long strip,cut the strip into blocks( about 1/2 inch),then use rolling pin roll the dough blocks into round and thin pieces.
Take one piece in you hand,fill the stuffings in the piece then knead the edge together.now you have made a dumpling.
put a pot on the fire,pour water in.When the water is boiling,put the dumplings in the water,use a big spoon to stir the dumplings so that they won't stick on the bottom of the pot.
After a few minutes,the water boiling again.now you can dredge up your dumplings.Normally,Chinese will add some vinegar,thus the dumplings will be more delicious.
